Wayne State University cordially invites you to attend a national conference on Emerging Nanoscience Applications in Technology and Biomedicine (ENATBIO), from October 15 – 16, 2007 at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Keynote address by:

Prof. Dr. Helmuth Möhwald
Director of the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces
"From Interfaces to Nanoparticle/ Polyelectrolyte Hybrid Capsules and Back"

Dinner and Keynote will be on October 15th at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center at Wayne State University; plenary sessions will be held on October 15th - 16th at the Community Arts Auditorium at Wayne State University in four thematic areas; and an expert panel discussion on the future of nanoscience and nanomedicine.

We are pleased to announce a slate of exciting plenary sessions led by internationally recognized experts in nanotechnology, including:

  • Supramolecular Assemblies - Dennis Discher from the University of Pennsylvania
  • Nanoparticles and Nanomaterials - Mark Saltzman from Yale University
  • Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering - Lonnie Shea from Northwestern University
  • Translational Nanomedicine - Chiming Wei from Johns Hopkins University

We invite you to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation for one of these plenary sessions. The abstract deadline is July 30, 2007 midnight EST. Presenters will be notified by early September.

Posters will be displayed alongside a student NanoArt exhibition, and conference participants will have the opportunity to participate in judging the art contest.
