Internal Funding Opportunities
To support and encourage research endeavors at the university, the Office of the Vice President for Research offers a variety of internal research funding opportunities for which faculty are eligible to compete. Additionally, other units such the Graduate School, Office of the Provost, Honors Program, Humanities Center and Center for Health Research offer competitive research support opportunities for faculty.
To allow faculty and students easy access to information about research funding opportunities available through these university units, the Office of the Vice President for Research annually compiles the Internal Research Support Booklet. This booklet provides comprehensive information on competitions for faculty and graduate students, guidelines on university procedures for conducting research, information on research support services, and a list of internal web sites helpful for WSU researchers.
Details about competitions and links to application forms can be found in the booklet. To go quickly to your page of interest, simply click on the award name in the booklets Table of Contents.
We hope you will take advantage of the many university programs available to you, and we wish you luck in your research and teaching endeavors this year!
