Searching for Funding Opportunities
WSU subscribes to the services of Community of Science®, the leading global resource for researchers in all disciplines to:
- Find funding
- Identify collaborators and competition
- Promote your research
We subscribe to both COS Expertise and COS Scholars Universe, two different platforms offered through Community of Science. We recommend cos.com to start, if you are specifically setting out to look for funding, and that is your only goal. Additionally, because of the sophisticated options for saving, sharing, and setting up alerts, cos.com is a good platform if you would like to invest some time in setting up searches and finding grants, potentially even to share with others, but then would like automated tools take over for you.
Funding Opportunities offered through COS Scholars Universe on the CSA Illumina platform allows you to perform a cross-database search, getting various types of information about a particular topic you are interested in. So, if you like to know about different elements of a field of study, Illumina is a good starting point.
